The Swiss Roger Federer (ATP 1) and the Croatian Borna Coric (ATP 49) have Thursday placed for the semi-finals of the Masters 1.000 tournament in Indian Wells (hard/7.972.535 dollar).
Defending champion Federer put the South Korean Hyeon Chung (ATP 26) to the side with 7-5 and 6-1. The contest was a re-release of the semi-finals at the Australian Open in late January. Chung had a 6-1, 4-1 deficit to specify with a foot injury. This time offered the 21-year-old South Korean with more resistance.
