Bas Dost was Thursday, and despite reaching the quarter-finals in the Europa League with Sporting Lisbon upset at themselves.

“I don’t know exactly what went wrong,” said Dost across the UEFA. “I looked at the goalkeeper and I thought, there’s probably something to easy about. I am very angry about it.”
The club from Lisbon won last week’s thuisduel with 2-0, but made it themselves in the Czech republic very difficult by a 2-0 deficit. After the missed penalty from Dost headed home Rodrigo Battaglia the Portuguese in the extension go to the quarter-finals.
“I am pleased that we, thanks to the goal from Rodrigo still win. If that hadn’t happened, I still had a lot of difficulty with that missed penalty,” said Dost.
Sporting Lisbon are going to Friday at 13.00 together with Atletico Madrid, RB Leipzig, Lazio Roma, Olympique Marseille, Arsenal, Red Bull Salzburg and CSKA Moscow in the sleeve for the draw of the quarter finals.
