The British police will open an investigation into the death of the Russian businessman Nikolai Gloesjkov. The balling was good friends with powerful opponents of Putin.
The 68-year-old Nikolay Gloesjkov was earlier this week was found dead in his home in London. The British police said no clues that his case is related to the poisoning of Sergey Skripal, but open now so an investigation of a killing.
Gloesjkov was good friends with the in 2013, also in London deceased oligarch Boris Berezovski, an outspoken critic of president Putin. The businessman was in 2017 in Russia in absentia for fraud. He would millions have been stolen from the Russian airline Aeroflot, where he in the past worked.
