The KNVB believes that Wesley Sneijder a nice goodbye get with the Dutch national team. The football association responds to the criticism of the 33-year-old midfielder that he never gets a chance to in a beautiful way the fans say goodbye.
“In consultation with Wesley Sneijder we will provide a beautiful farewell. That he deserves, there is, everyone agrees”, says the KNVB Thursday on Twitter. “How that exactly will look like is not yet to say. Internally, we are working on it.”
Sneijder, with 133 matches record international of the Dutch national team, decided this month, in consultation with the new coach Ronald Koeman to stop at Orange. The player of the Qatari Al-Garafa had, however, like to have a final contest received by the Oranjefans to be sent off.
“I’m fifteen years continuously, and record international,” he told Thursday at the NOS. “As Arjen Robben his retirement has been given, I think that is it for me too.”
