Queen Elizabeth has formally given permission to her grandson prince Harry to be with his fiancee Meghan Markle to marry. This she did in a letter to the Privy Council, a formal advisory body of the British queen which is composed of senior politicians, judges and bishops.
“I certify that I am instem with a pre-nuptial agreement between my beloved grandson Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan Markle”, is stated in the letter.
Prince Harry is now fifth in the line of the British succession to the throne, after his father prince Charles, his brother prince William and his children, prince George and princess Charlotte.
The permission was a mere formality, such as the 91-year-old queen previously had said. The wedding ceremony between prince Harry and Meghan Markle on may 19 in Windsor Castle.
