Jan Mulder and Cees Stolk have a threatening letter received. The two received the letter with threatening language because of their role in the windmolendebat around Nieuwolda.
Mulder would together with former journalist Stolk speak at an information evening in Meedhuizen. This evening was organised by citizens ‘ Initiative villages to the south of Delfzijl, Foundation Oldambtwindmolenvrij and Foundation Landscape Oldambt. The meeting was called off after Stolk the threatening letter had been received, writes RTV Noord.
The 72-year-old Mulder received the threatening letter later than his colleague-speaker, because it is incorrectly addressed.
Stolk, member of the board of the Foundation for Landscape Oldambt, has reported to the police. Mulder will later this week do the same.
