Heracles Almelo last Thursday, Frank Wormuth was appointed as the trainer for the next season. The German is the successor of John Stegeman.

The 57-year-old Wormuth signs a contract for two years with an option on another season, reports Heracles. The premiere league club from Almelo is his first job as a trainer at the highest level, after he in recent years was working for the German football association DFB.

Since 2008, Wormuth, head of the trainersopleiding of the bond and that he combines since 2010, with the bondscoachschap of the German national team under 20 years of age.

The former player of Freiburg and Hertha BSC is happy that he is back with a club to get started. “I look forward to every day on the field. Except with his vision, he will apply even if a trainer is good at Heracles,” says Fledderus. “He is the mastermind behind the renewal of German football and with his knowledge he can our club continue to develop. Together with Frank we are going for attractive football.”
