The Belgian dance festival Tomorrowland has for 400,000 euro grants received from the French region of Auvergne, Rhône-Alpes, as the organisation from 13 to 15 march in a winter edition of the festival, in l’alpe-d’huez. That is to read in the local press and confirms the festival organiser to Belga.
“This event, with international resonance, writes in the priorities of the regional cultural policy,” said Laurent Wauquiez, chairman of the region, in a communiqué. “The event will also increase the attractiveness of the region will strengthen.” Wauquiez also leads the right-wing opposition party, Les Républicains.
Tomorrowland Winter expected in march 2019 over 30,000 festival-goers.
