He is known from the tv program ‘The Sky is The Limit’ and for his love for all things four wheels and fairly quickly going forward. And a heavy foot, he has apparently, Michel van den Brande. The tv star was at the beginning of march in an appeal sentenced to a driving ban of three months, a fine of 300 euros and the re-sitting of driving tests. Reason? A heavy speeding ticket.
“I’m so tired in this strontland!”, so responds Van den Brande on the condemnation. He was on 19 september 2016 in Knokke with his BMW X6 flashed with 154 km/h at road works where only 90 allowed. The magistrate explained to him, therefore, in november of even a driving ban of three months, a fine of 300 euros and the re-sitting of driving tests. Michel van den Brande went against it in appeal, but his sentence was therefore confirmed.
Van den Brande showed his displeasure over the free loop on Facebook. “Now I am condemned because I am seven times too fast have driven on a time span of 18 years! And now dare judges say that I’m a repeat offender! Why were they not from my birth? They’re going to many find! I’m so tired in this strontland! In terms of politics, you become exhausted, and now the court adds a little something to do! I’m bloody 39 years of my driving licence, do 60.000-80.000 km a year, have never had no accident, and this is my gift! Thank you to the gentlemen judges. But remember: he who laughs last, have the best laughs!”
