Steffi Jones is Tuesday dismissed as coach of the German football. The 45-year-old former international has to leave due to the recent bad results of the two-time world champion.
The 66-year-old Horst Hrubesch, who, in 2016, the German men to silver led to the Olympic Games of Rio de Janeiro, will be next month at the world cup qualifiers against the Czech republic and Slovenia on an interim basis the responsibilities of Jones to take over, reports the German association DFB on his site.
Jones, who in 2003 with her country and the world title captured, had ceased in August 2016, the coach of the German football, after they assistant was under Silvia Neid.
