“I have nothing more. No one gives me an opportunity right now,” says Shia in an interview with Esquire. “Spike Lee is working on a new film, I talked to him about it. He is to the lenders gone, and has tried me in his film, but the lenders said ’no’. And so ends my adventure with Spike Lee for this film.”

Shia is not, however, intend to quietly sit down. “I must learn to live with my mistakes and my own doorstep clean before I go back to work. I try to remain creative and to learn from my mistakes.”

The Transformers actor went last summer from his roof against the agents in Savannah, in the U.s. state of Georgia. Shia scolded the agents when he was arrested for public drunkenness. Also swung the actor racist comments to the head of a diender. “What Georgia has done, is shameful,” says Shia in the interview. He sums up the event together with the words ’white privilege, despair and disaster’. “I’m a mess.”

Shia came last year, also repeatedly in contact with the criminal justice system because of an art project, also a protest against the American president Donald Trump. He also went in a drunken mood from his roof into a bowling alley. “I’m stupid, my public outbursts are failures.”
