In the final stage Of the Mountain after a violation on Ritsu Doan is the youngest-ever player with a yellow card in the Premier league. The student was happy with his debut, but regretted also of the defeat in the Noordlease Stadium.
“I never want to lose, that’s why I love here a mixed feeling about this,” says the defender. “Of course I am happy with my debut, but also disappointed that we have lost.”
“I did not expect that I so quickly would debut. When defenders go which is often less quickly. I had already a couple of times on the selection sitting. This morning I got up with the feeling that today could happen.”

Free day
PEC Zwolle is doing a bad series, which the team has slipped to seventh place in the rankings. Of the nine matches played after the winter break, there were only two won and went six lost.
Trainer John van ‘t schip decided after the defeat in Groningen the day free for his basisspelers on Monday to withdraw. “I think that something needs to change,” says the coach. “I also want to hear how the players think about it.”
“Of course, it is difficult to see the number of points to pick up for the winter break, but I’m mainly concerned that something emanates as you’re on the field. You can as PEC being the best a competition to lose, but not by your own game to play, so ‘we’ll see’ each other does not help and not fight for each other.”
PEC Zwolle plays Sunday in the 28th matchday at home against Feyenoord. The match starts at 16.45 hours.
