BERLIN – The German newspaper Bild, set in principle can not own more images of topless women. The past few months, the images of these scantily clad women “increasingly considered offensive or derogatory by the editors and by readers”, the newspaper Monday.
The topless ’Bild Girl’ was six years ago already, prominent front pages or openings disappeared to less conspicuous spots. The item ‘Bild Girl’ however does not disappear, reported the newspaper, “for erotic art and photography are among the achievements of the free society.” Photographs of nudes in the news, or that everyone is talking about, will be shown.
Bild stressed that “all women for our magazine, have undressed, that is voluntarily and with great pleasure have done.”
