NEC in the Jupiler League took the lead over from Ajax. The Nijmegen-based club was on their own field with 3-0 too strong for FC Volendam.

Jong Ajax lost for your own audience with 0-2 Go Ahead Eagles and, therefore, has NEC as lijstaanvoerder now one point more than the Amsterdam competitor.
