Russell Crowe goes after his divorce a few personal items to auction off. The actor from Gladiator divorced in 2012 from his wife Danielle Spencer. Russel now has together with the employees of Sotheby’s Australia The Art of Divorce-auction set up. Which will take place on 7 april, the 15th day of the wedding of the couple.
The 227 items include jewelry, guitars, filmmemorabilia, art, cars and motorcycles.
“Divorce allows you to really understand things that are essential in life – and the things that are not”, reads a statement of the actor. “During the process, I looked around and I realized that many things had. Things in my career, things I’ve collected, and ordinary things. Boxes and boxes of things … so, in the spirit of going forward with your life; here is a part of that collection.”
Earlier this month, it announced that Crowe that he was more than half of his impressive watch collection sells, he is told, however, not why. The timepieces will also be part of the divorce sale.
Russell and Danielle were married in 2003 and together have two sons.
