German owes life to dog

Paderborn – A 44-year-old German woman has her life thanks to her dog. She fell Wednesday afternoon in Paderborn (North rhine-Westphalia) in the now icy river Alme, but got help from her four-legged friend.

How the woman in the Alme ended up, is still unclear. The police are going out of an accident, wrote the Westfalen-Blatt.

Her dog pulled hard and barking the attention of a walker in the neighborhood and went before him to the scene of the disaster. The man pulled the upper body of the unconscious victim above water. The alarmed rescue services brought the woman to knowledge.
