“We began to work together in clubjes and it is an unbelievable privilege to the same clubs 40 years later,” said Henny Vrienten. Do But unleashed in the early eighties, a craze in the Netherlands, similar to that of The Beatles in their heyday. The band scored many great hits such as “Doris Day”, “Is This Everything”, “The Bomb”, “1 Night Only” and “Pa”. Ernst Jansz: “When we were ever in Neerkant, full of enthusiasm, a Dutch band started, we had no idea of the incredible adventure that is ahead of us. And if we now, 40 years and a lifetime later, a song, and when The Bomb sing, it seems it’s true: nothing changes really.”
