Mark and James go together to drink coffee for the role to discuss.
Director James Gunn running with the idea to Star Wars legend Mark Hamill in the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy casting. He was on the track by a fan that the idea on the internet suggested.
The filmmaker, who is currently in the script development for the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, was last weekend, approached by Twitterer Ian Fee. Who asked whether he could think of for Hamill in the upcoming superheldenfilm. Gunn stood there not unkind.
“I think Mark around the corner from me in Malibu lives, so he just may come and we have someone to talk to during a cup of coffee,” answered Gunn. That invitation aroused the interest of Mark and he quickly responded. “I would like to do, both as a good neighbour and as an unemployed actor.”
“Haha let’s do it,” tweette Gunn, while Hamill asked him to contact us directly “if you’re serious”.
The Twitter conversation did raised some dust at sci-fi fans, especially since the Guardians of the Galaxy-movies, known as reference points from pop culture from the 70s and 80s, when Hamill for the first time as Luke Skywalker in the Star Warsfilms of George Lucas.
As Gunn Hamill for the upcoming sequel hires, he will tioetreden to the cast of its star, Chris Pratt, and the stars Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista and Vin Diesel.
Sylvester Stallone is reportedly also returned as Ravagerbaas Stakar Ogord. He was last year, already seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
