LEIPZICH – German cities are allowed to have a driving ban for diesel cars impose. The federal administrative court rejected Tuesday the appeal against an earlier ruling by a lower court.

The ruling of the highest federal administrative judge, came after the German states in the appeal went against the prohibitions, which were imposed by local courts in Stuttgart and Düsseldorf. It came to the matters covered by the environmental group DUH that were submitted, due to poor air quality in those cities.
