PRAGUE – A Czech court Tuesday the release ordered of the former Syrian-Kurdish PYD leader Saleh Muslim, said his lawyer. This is despite the call of Turkey to him in detention to keep in anticipation of a uitleveringsverzoek.

Muslim led formerly known as the PYD, the most important part of a coalition of the Kurdish autonomous areas of Northern Syria it controls. He was in the weekend at the request of Turkey in Prague held on a charge of disruption of the state and murder.
The 67-year-old Muslim was arrested after an international opsporingsverzoek through Interpol. He is already since 2016 being sought for a bombing in Ankara. Turkey put Muslim two weeks ago on a list of alleged terrorists, because he is a member of the banned PKK.
