The Spaniard Rafael Nadal (31) is celebrating this week his comeback at the ATP tournament in mexico’s Acapulco.
The number two of the world had at the end of January with a beenblessure specify in his quarter final of the Australian Open against the Croatian Marin Cilic. After more than a month absence makes the Nadal comeback in Acapulco. There he takes in the first round against his compatriot Feliciano Lopez (ATP 38).
“I’m thrilled to be here. I feel that I am recovered from what happened in Melbourne,” explains Nadal, who last year in Acapulco lost to Sam Querrey. “I have a few weeks, rested, and rehabilitated. Since last week, I train hard again. I’m ready. Injuries are a part of my career. This was not the first time. Of course it is difficult, especially when you feel that you are ready to play well. But it happened and I shouldn’t complain. I should continue to go.”
