Ajax captain Joël Veltman regretted Sunday firmly of the 0-0 draw in their own home against ADO Den Haag, making behind leader PSV for the time being, only one point was reduced.
“Same old story: we were the better team, kept the zero, but were not”, says Veltman for the camera of FOX Sports.
“How is it possible? The ball had just once been. In the opening we got a good chance, and the same was true for the final.”
Veltman was the not entirely agree with the reading that Ajax in a far too low tempo played to the defence of ADO Den Haag at the bernabeu.
“They were quite compact and, of course, had the pace or something up should have been done, but we had a couple of good receivers. The through-balls were in each case, however, just not good.”
