WASHINGTON – Special prosecutor Robert Mueller, who is investigating possible Russian interference in the Us elections of 2016, the indictment Trumps ex-campaign manager Paul Manafort adjusted. This is now also suspected of secret payments to leading European politicians in 2012 and 2013 to lobby for the pro-Russian government in Ukraine.
Manafort, who was at that time with business partner Rick Gates adviser of the Ukrainian president Viktor Janoekovitsj, would for that purpose more than two million euros have transferred to former policy-makers in Europe. Their names are not published.
Mueller complained Tuesday, in connection with this case, the Dutch lawyer, Alex van der Zwaan. This was in november against the FBI to have lied about the work that he Manafort, and Gates did for the government of Ukraine.
