BERLIN – The German government wants a national scheme that allows cities with a ban to enter to the polluting cars to fend off. That reported German media on Saturday. They call this remarkable, because the government up until now such driving bans in any form was rejected.

Next week is Leipzig a ruling expected from the supreme administrative court on the question of whether cities, in the absence of a national scheme independently of a driving ban are allowed to enter if the air is too polluted. The German ministry of transport announces that in response to written questions that there is a national scheme being worked on.
