Claire Foy, the actress who shape a young version of the British queen Elizabeth II in the Netflix series “The Crown”, has announced that she is separating from her husband, actor Stephen Campbell. The announcement of the actress comes a few months after her husband’s brain tumor was surgically taken out, reports the British tabloid newspaper The Sun.
The couple confirmed their break-up to The Sun and stated that they been for a while living apart. “We hope that we can continue as good friends, with the greatest of respect for each other.”
In the circle of friends of the couple came to the break as a great shock. “After seven years together, it came as a real shock, but they are lovely people who in a civilised way their separation would settle it”, says a friend of the couple.
About the cause of the fracture nothing is known, all confirm friends “that their relationship is simply not working, and that it was better to stop”.
