CAIRO – In Egypt, 21 people sentenced to death for planning attacks, in the form of an islamic extremist group and the making of bombs. That says a source within the court. Four others have been sentenced to 15 to 25 years in prison. Sixteen of the 21 convicted in absentia.
In Egypt, it is since 2013 a new yacht on both islamic extremists as moderate islamists started. Since the ousting of the elected president Mohamed Mursi and the banning of his party, the muslim brotherhood, hundreds of death sentences pronounced and there are dozens of convicts have been executed.
