That Daniel Craig one last time to return as the secret agent 007 was already longer known, but who in the regiestoel will be the new James Bond film is still a question mark. Different sources reported to entertainmentmagazine Variety that the film studios MGM and Eon, the British director Danny Boyle, known for the Trainspotting-movies, on the eye would have.
Boyle, also known as the director of the award-winning ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, would be at the top of the list of candidates of fame. According to Variety, however, there is still no official proposal.
The 61-year-old filmmaker would be interested in the project and has always been a Bond film like directing. He is currently in the back with another movie, but since the casting call still has to happen, can that project be postponed. Also for ‘Skyfall’ from 2012 and ‘Spectre’ of 2015 was Boyle being considered as a director. Whether it is actually the strings of the 25th Bond film in the hands will take is still just guess work, but the director of the two previous Bond films, Sam Mendes, has already have to know given that he applies for a new James Bond.
Previously went the rumor that Christopher Nolan, the director would take, but that was later categoriek debunked by Nolan himself.
