‘Dunkirk’ is a gripping war film about the evacuation of the British troops on the beaches of Dunkirk in late may 1940. A logistical feat, and a race against time, as the Germans advanced quickly.

Director Christopher Nolan is filming with an immersive, almost documentary-like style, and throws you right into the action. Dunkirk is a film that you actually like in the cinema want to see, but that you also decide on the small screen will impress. This film was nominated for a whopping eight Oscars.
