MAPUTO – At least seventeen people are in the capital city of Mozambique to the life because of a waste of 15 feet high collapsed. That was a result of the heavy rainfall. According to the authorities, seven houses have been buried by the shifting mess.
The drama happened on Monday in the early morning in the impoverished neighbourhood of Hulene, approximately 10 kilometres from the centre of Maputo. The structures at the landfill were illegal.
The government said the residents arranged to have urged to leave. “So far we have seventeen bodies recovered. We fear that more bodies lie. The search for victims goes by,” said a spokeswoman.
