ALEPPO – Despite the devastating civil war there is still a Syrian citizen who cares about the fate of cats. In an asylum just outside of Aleppo, led a hundred animals a quiet life.
Mohammad Alaa Aljaleel opens its shelter in Aleppo during the beginning of the war, in 2013. As the war escalates flight Mohammad to the countryside just outside of Aleppo. With the worsening of the situation in the city, so too does the number of cats in his care. More and more fleeing compatriots to bring their pet to Mohammad. Now the former nurse for more than a hundred cats. With some regularity, he sends a photo of the critters to the owners. Also the children know ‘Ernesto’s House’ – named after his first cat – to find.
