Edward Theuns returns with a good feeling to return home from the Tour of Oman. The rider of Sunweb arrived ill in the Middle East, recovered fortunately and to say the good condition to tackle.

“I look very happy back at the Tour of Oman,” says Gentenaar. “I was ill just before departure, was here the first two stages are pretty hard, but then it went a lot better and for me this was a good week to illness, redeemed to get the condition to improve, and the good feeling you get.”
Theuns is looking forward to the opening weekend. He will ride the Omloop het Nieuwsblad on Saturday, and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne the day after, he is not of the party. “It’s nice to have as a citizen of Ghent in Ghent to be able to start, only a pity that the arrival is no longer in Ghent. Well now, with the Wall and the Bosberg we also get a beautiful final.”
“I myself, not between the favorites, there are a few riders who really sticking out”, he says. “Of the Team, as every year. I saw him here the past week, driving in Oman, and he is strong. He is really well-liked and furthermore, I also saw that Terpstra in good shape. For the rest I saw not a lot of other guys do, but you may have to scroll back through the same well-known names to the fore.”
