Club Brugge has again points.
The leader saw Racing Genk in the final come alongside: 2-2. It marked the third tie in a row of Club Brugge.
The Greek striker Nikos Karelis brought Racing Genk after ten minutes on the lead, but Hans Vanaken pulled the stand quickly from a penalty kick. Karelis left after an hour, a perfect chance at his second goal. The Greek shot a penalty kick in addition to the purpose of Kenneth Vermeer and saw Vanaken moments later, however, re-scoring.
In the final stage were the visitors from Genk again a penalty kick. Ruslan Malinovskij remained cool and gave Club Brugge the fourth loss of points in a row in the Belgian league. Goalkeeper Vermeer and captain Ruud Molder played the whole match in the home team, Stefano Denswil remained on the bank.
