Number two NEC has Friday bad things done in the Jupiler League for the fourth time in a row, an away game to lose. Competitor Fortuna Sittard missed at home against Telstar also points.
NEC went hard down with MVV (4-1) and lost, so far, all away games of 2018. Previously were FC Oss (3-0), Almere City (3-2) and FC Emmen (1-0) too strong. The thuisduels in the new calendar year provided, however, all a victory.
Fortuna, that third state is played against Telstar, the first match since the midweekse dismissal of coach Sunday Oliseh and won’t have to: 1-1.
By the loss of points of NEC (49 points) and Fortuna (45), leader Ajax, which is also 49 points Monday to lead as the home of Oss wins.
Further got FC Emmen (5-2 against The County) and FC Volendam (4-1 against FC Dordrecht) Friday as MVV, won Almere City and Helmond Sport 2-0, respectively, of Go Ahead Eagles and Young FC Utrecht, knocked Young AZ, FC Eindhoven 1-3 and was not scored for RKC Waalwijk-SC Cambuur.
