PRISTINA – Kosovo and Montenegro have Friday reached an agreement on a trailing country is friends. The agreement is a step on the road to visa-free travel for Kosovars to the European Union.
The Kosovar president Hashim Thaçi said that the Kosovo parliament now needs to vote to the demarcatieovereenkomst from 2015 to ratify, which Montenegro has already done.
Attempts to vote in the past led to violence in Kosovo, where members of parliament with tear gas, threw and protesters with the police on the street in the collision came.
The opposition parties in Kosovo were against the agreement of 2015, because they thought wrongly about 8000 hectares of territory to Montenegro gave away.
