Thiago Alcantara makes Saturday after a rehabilitation of nearly three months of his comeback at Bayern Munich. The Spanish midfielder is in the league of ‘der Rekordmeister’ against Wolfsburg immediately on the kick-off, as confirmed Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes on Friday.
Thiago Alcantara came for the last time in action in the Champions League encounter against Anderlecht (1-2), november 22, 2017. A muscle tear in the thigh kept him after several months in the infirmary. Since two weeks training the 26-year-old Spaniard to re-join the group.
On the field of Wolfsburg can Heynkes not count on midfielder Arturo Vidal, by a suspension, and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who is still recovering from a voetbreuk. They can play, certainly not against the German team of Divock Origi, Landry Dimata and Koen Casteels.
