The funeral of the Tuesday death of prince Henrik of Denmark (83) is next week Tuesday place in the Christiansborg Slotskirke in Copenhagen. The husband of queen Margrethe is then cremated, the Danish court Wednesday published.
The axis will be divided: one half is sea-strewn, the other half in an urn in the garden of Fredensborg Castle north of Copenhagen. Last summer he had decided that he was not beside his wife in the cathedral of Roskilde was to be buried.
It was intended that Henrik and his wife queen Margrethe together their final resting place would get in a glass sarcophagus in Roskilde.
But the Danish court made last year that Henrik is no longer in Roskilde wanted to be buried dissatisfaction with his discrimination in the royal family. He came protocol after his wife and son, crown prince Frederik and the title of ‘king consort’ was not granted.
