West Bromwich Albion will experience tentative no fun to mercenary Daniel Sturridge. The English attacker, hired from Liverpool, became Monday all in the openingsminuten of the league game against Chelsea, injured.
“After a sprint of 60 meters he felt all of a sudden something in his hamstring,” said manager Alan Pardew. “Daniel will next week can’t play, maybe the week after that again. We have needed him, because we need to score goals.”
Sturridge is the last years, dogged by physical problems. The 28-year-old Englishman came this season with Liverpool only nine appearances in the Premier League, of which he has two goals made. Sturridge hopes to join WBA in the picture to play for the world cup.
The team of Pardew had to go with 3-0 to bow to Chelsea and with twenty points below in the English top league. WBA made only 21 goals in 27 games.
