BERLIN – the SPD-leader Martin Schulz will stop with immediate effect as chairman. That he has Tuesday night said in Berlin.
Schulz wanted to really only make way for his successor, Andrea Nahles, when the members had spoken about the participation of the German social-democrats in the new coalition government of chancellor Angela Merkel. The outcome of that vote march 4, are known.
