POHANG – at least twenty people were injured by an earthquake Sunday in the city of Pohang in the southeast of South Korea. The South Korean news agency Yonhap reported that the earthquake with a strength of 4.6.
The quake was in large parts of the country felt. Also in the capital Seoul responded people worried. About 1400 people called in to the fire brigade in Seoul with questions and comments about the quake.
Pohang is located approximately 180 kilometres away from Pyeongchang, where the Olympic Games will be held.
