Soufiane Bouchikhi has another victory added to his impressive season. Bouchikhi won the Sunday the fifth round of the CrossCup in Rotselaar. In the women surprised Sofie Van located just a short wal to pick up for Imana Truyers, the leader in the standings.
Louise Carton, made her comeback on the sandy trail in Rotselaar after months without competition by injuries to the ankle. Truyers conducted for a long time the command, but was in the lock, located just a short wal let go, that her first CrossCup victory achieved.
For the men, it was Isaac Kimeli who substantially started. Bouchikhi, however, and left his competitors no chance. The East-Fleming remains unbeaten in the CrossCup this season. Bouchikhi is also the big favorite for the Belgian championships in Brussels, in the park of Laeken on February 25.
In the short cross on the men, it was Jeroen D’Hoedt for the first time this season, not the best. D’Hoedt, who last week suffered a slight injury to the knee, had the victory to Ali Hamdi. The victory of D’Beware in the leopard of the CrossCup, however, is not in danger. The BK about two weeks in Rotselaar is already the last race of the season.
