TRIBSEES – The recovery from the massive hole in the German A20 motorway in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern continues for at least three years. The highway in Tribsees is a length of almost 100 metres, collapsed.
In september, appeared the first cracks in the Oostzeesnelweg and this week changed the highway in a metersdiepe crater. The cause of the collapse is still not clear. In the coming months, it is examined whether the construction or bodemprobleem.
The A20 motorway is a major artery for the leisure traffic to the Baltic sea. The highway is relatively young. Only in 2005 the road was constructed.
