Formula 1 pilot Fernando Alonso will be this season at all distance races of the world CHAMPIONSHIP endurance (WEC) can participate. Originally, the Spaniard the first race, the 6 hours of Fuji, should be missed because that coincided with the Formula 1 Grand-prix of the United States. The organization did however Friday know the 6 hours of Fuji, one week early. The match will now be in the weekend of 13 and 14 October will take place.

The Japanese carmaker Toyota, for whom Alonso will drive in the WEC, is the owner of the circuit of Fuji and wanted Alonso like to see drive on that thuiscircuit. Alonso hopes to be the Triple Crown to win. That he in addition to the Grand Prix F1 of Monaco, the 500 miles of Indianapolis (IndyCar) and the 24 hours of Le Mans on his list of achievements. Only the Brit Graham Hill did him for (with a win in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1972). Alonso won the GP of Monaco in 2006 and 2007. Last year he made his debut in the 500 miles of Indianapolis. He drove for a while in the lead, but fell to 21 laps from the end. .
