Rock Werchter will take during the coming edition for the first time, a fourth stage in use. The stage, that the name of the Slope’, is at the highest point of the multi-purpose ramp that in 2007 was introduced and will accommodate “young wolves, stars of tomorrow, discoveries of the festivalprogrammatoren”. In addition, given the stage The Barn a bigger tent, with room for up to 20,000 festival-goers.

“It is no secret that we all just dream of a fourth stage,” says organiser Herman Schueremans. “There are so many – now, even – smaller bands that we would like to introduce you at the Rock Werchter festival-audience. Rock Werchter announced today also 11 new names known for the poster of 2018. The already well-known headliners for the festival, which takes place from 5 to 8 July, Pearl Jam, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Queens of the Stone Age, London Grammar, Gorillaz, Arctic Monkeys, Jack Johnson, Stereophonics…
