The six-man jury of the 68th edition of the International film Festival of Berlin will be predominantly female, with the Belgian actress Cécile de France (Haute tension”, “Hereafter”) as the most outstanding member. The organisers of the Berlinale today announced the full list of jury members for the 68th edition unveiled, reports The Hollywood Reporter today.
“Moonlight”-producer Adele Romanski, the Belgian actress Cécile de France, the Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, filmjournaliste Stephanie Zacharek of Time Magazine and the Spanish architect Chema Prado will this year decide which of the participating movies a Golden or Silver Bear will receive. Previously announced by the organisation that the German director Tom Tykwer, known for the thriller “Lola rennt” (1998), the jury should preside.
The 68th edition of the Berlin International film Festival runs from 15 to 25 February. The program includes more than 400 films from around the world.
