With the Omloop het Nieuwsblad in Ghent traditionally, the international cycling season on European soil next year. From Thursday 22 February until Sunday 25 February is ’t ‘Kuipke’, all in the sign of one big celebration of cycling.
The 73rd edition of the Omloop het Nieuwsblad, the second UCI WorldTour classic, is even bigger and even more exciting, thanks to the innovative course with the start in the wielerhart of Ghent and arrival in Meerbeke. ’t ‘Kuipke’ in Ghent is transformed into a charming wielertempel to the course in an appropriate way to welcome on European soil. On Thursday, the ‘Kuipke’, transformed into the party venue, on Saturday we go in search of a successor for Greg van Avermaet and on Sunday it is the turn of the amateurs to their season to open.
Ball Pedal: StuBru-DJ’s, Discobaar A Mother and The Ideal World
