Roseanne Barr has a little fun with her popularity during the nineties, when her komedieserie Roseanne on television was broadcast.
“I am several times collapsed, but fortunately noticed nobody,” said Barr in a look back at the television station ABC.
“At least, that’s what I thought always. But it was a number of times so seriously that I had to be admitted to the hospital. That was very difficult. Fame was a nuisance to me.”
The actress is not afraid that history will repeat itself as the remake of her sitcom will soon be available in the United States on television. “This time I think: ok, I’m 65. Thank god, now I have a health insurance, so I don’t have more to worry about,” laughs the actress.
The new series Roseanne begins on 27 march with a double episode of an hour on the American channel ABC. The entire cast returns for nine new episodes, including Roseanne Barr (Roseanne), John Goodman (Dan), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Michael Fishman (D. J.) and Lecy Goranson (Becky).
