Marc Madiot, team manager of WorldTour team Groupama-FDJ on Wednesday, in his opinion enunciated in the affair-Chris Froome. Madiot believes that Froome no matches would be allowed to drive until a ‘solution’ is found for his positive test.
“I am a member of the MPCC (Mouvement pour un cyclisme crédible, red), the movement which calls for a clean sport of cycling, and that is to say, that I have no riders from my team in competitions and shows off that have been associated with a dopingovertreding”, put Madiot from the shore in the presentation of his team of 2018.
“If I won so my team would drive, he would not be allowed to participate in races until there is a verdict in his case. I am not trying to say that I find that Froome not suspended. I just want to say that the situation needs to be settled and that his team, Sky, to him in the interest of the health of the rider at home should keep. I’m curious whether that will happen,” added Madiot out.
Madiot’s team leader Arnaud Démare didn’t want the position. “That is a far-from-my-bed-show. We have judges to pass judgment in such matters.” Also climber Thibaut Pinot was on the plains. “It’s not up to me to condemn him. There are many competentere people that the results of his test have to be analysed. That said, this is a blow for cycling. I hope that the case settled quickly. We have in recent years shown good to act in such cases.”
Chris Froome showed on 20 september last year in the Tour of Spain, which he succesfully completed, a high value of salbutamol in his urine again.
