Real Madrid has a very good thing in the battle for second place in La Liga. The Royal went on a visit to Valencia with the clear numbers win: it was 1-4. Cristiano Ronaldo was the man of the match with two penaltygoals, respectively the 100th and 101st of his long career.

Real Madrid remains fourth in the standings, but now only two points from Valencia and in addition it has a match credit. Match organiser Barcelona has 16 points ahead, city rivals Atlético Madrid is second and has five units ahead.
