The HBO series Big little lies will get there in the second season in a big star actress. No one less than Meryl Streep plays a role in the acclaimed series.
Meryl Streep, who recently her 21st Oscar nomination received will be in addition to Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon to show up in the sequel of Big little lies. The 68-year-old actress plays Mary Louise Wright, the mother of Perry Wright (Alexander Skarsgard). Mary Louise is worried about her grandchildren and wants to be behind the history of her son.
The series is very popular. The first season recently won eight emmy’s and four Golden Globes. So won Nicole Kidman a Golden Globe for best actress in a miniseries. Alexander Skarsgard, got the Golden Globe for best actor. Meryl Streep was recently her 21st Oscar nomination for her role in the Steven Spielberg movie The post and broke its own record.
Big little lies was intended as a miniseries, but because of the huge success has HBO, a sequel was announced. The second series has seven episodes. It is not yet known when the series will be shown.
