After the forfait of Vincenzo Nibali lost the Tour of San Juan a second (and last) star: Fernando Gaviria came in the fourth stage fall at about 70 kilometers from the finish, and the Colombian sprinter of Quick Step Floors got out of the course. Don’t worry: his Argentine teammate Maximiliano Richeze won thanks to good preparatory work of Iljo Keisse.
The fourth stage of the Tour of San Juan was one hour later than planned start because on the trail roads flooded after the storm and the great rain of the past night.
